Wake up at 4am, take 1 hour tram to train station, 4 hour TGV to Paris, 1 hour shuttle bus to Airport (Paris Beauvais), 3 Hour flight to Rome and 1 hour bus to Hostel. It is raining !!! Finally arrive there at 6pm. Very exhausted. After dinner, I go to bed immediately.
30/04 ( Sunday)
Start Italy Trip!!!
Take the Metro to Vatican. I cannot imagine there are a lot of people going to there. In the metro, people do not follow any rules. They do not line up and just push you inside the metro even there is not any space inside.
Vatican is the smallest country in the world and it is as big as six Victory Parks. We see the Wall surrounding Vatican and Swiss Guards. Then we stay in St. Peter's Square to see the Pope. Many people from different countries fill the whole square. Finally it is noon and we can hear what Pope is saying.

Can u see the Pope?

Outside St. Peter's Church

Swiss Guard. Dress like a crown
Then we visit St. Peter's Church. It is the greatest and the most beautiful church I have seen in my life. You will be amazed by its archiectectures and decorations.
Since the Vatican Museum and Sistine Chapel is closed at 1:45 pm, I cannot visit them. I really want to visit the richest museum in the world and see "The creation of Adam". Maybe if I go to Italy next time, I will surely visit it again.
Then I visit many places.

Castel Sant Angelo

Piazza Navona.

Patheon ( very tired) Many people around in each sightseeing spots.

Trevi Fountain ( it is said if you toss 2 coins over your shoulder and you will return to Rome.Your wish will come true )

Piazza Venezia ( Where Government works here)
1/5
We first go to Colisseum. There are many people going there.

The close look of colisseum

Outside the colisseum

Inside view, only left ruins from more than 2000 years.

Mouth of Truth. Reminds me of "Roman Hoilday"
2/5, 3/5
Take 3 hours train to Florence. I love this city so much. It is a place where Renaissance started and the whole city is so artistic.

Piazza Signora
Fake David. But doesn't the scrulpture look great? I mean the figure.

I almost have gelatos all the week. You can see an ice-cream shop in 50 m. It's so tempting and u can easily have 2 cones a day. So tasty and cheap. (30hkd for 5 favours in Venice)
I have 3 favours in Florence. I am so happy.

The Famous Bridge where there are a lot of Jewellery shops
Dinner
We have Pizzas ( I am feed up with it now), cannelloni, tiramisu, lasagne.
3/5
Go to Pisa (near Florence, just take 1 hour train)

I take the stairs (about 7 floors) and reach the top of the tower, so tired...

Far view. It seems the tower is falling. We meet many hk people from Wing on. So glad to hear Cantonese.

Duomo church. I climb 435 stairs to the top!!! In total I walk about 1200 stairs in a day!

Galleria degli Uffizi.
You can see the works of Botticelli, Michaelangelo and Da Vinci.
I love " The birth of Venus" and I learn more about Leonardo Da vinic from the exhibition. He is a genius!!! He is good at Art, Maths, Physics, Biology, architecture, medicine, engineering. How can such person exist in the world? He is VERY amazing!!!
4/5, 5/5
Venice

Beautiful, huh?

Piazza San Marco. Thousands of Pigeon flying around. so scared

Shops with different shapes and tastes of spagetti. You can have chocolate, curry, blueberry and so on. I am not sure if it tastes good.

Venice is famous for its masks and necklace.
I miss Italy a lot and wanna to visit other cities!!!!
6/5
Arrive the Paris airport at 10pm, need to figure out how to go to the hotel near Disneyland. 3 girls taking metro and RER is quite dangerous. Anyway we go to the hotel around 12. Thank god, nothing happens.

Far View

Funny Picture. We tried many hats in Disneyland

Pinocchiuo. My favourite

We played SpaceMountain. I am freaked out. My heart beats quickly!!!! Too exciting for me.

Today Joey, Pam and others watched The silent Hill while I and Alison watched TransAmerica in downtown (we cannot stand Horror movies). We had spent almost 2 hours to get to the cinema as it is a damn holiday in France. Before going to cinema, we go to have tea and I have a cake with strawberry and rum sauce. It is so delicious!
TransAmerica won the best story in Oscar and the plot is interesting and original. It talks about a 17 year-old boy met a middle-aged woman (transsexual man) who turned out to be his biological father. How can he find out and what is his reaction? Why he will fall in love with his father? You will know if you see the movie. You will not feel bored during 1h43mins.

Start my trip to Cote d¡¦Azur!!!
Take the train at 1 am in the morning. When I get on the train, the room is very dark and I can barely see my upper bed. It is very horrible. I cannot sleep all night. Luckily, I bring my ipod and it accompanies me all night.
The train passes many stations such as Cannes, Antibes. I can roughly see them from the station. After 9 hours, finally arrive to Nice. The angel beach is very beautiful.

Angel Beach

From the Park.To get the whole view of the city-- Nice.
You can look the Mediterrenean Sea from the beach. The sky is so blue and water is so clear. Unfortunately, it is not warm enough to have a swim. It is a pleasure to sit there to think nothing, just close your eyes and listen to waves. That day, I go to old town of Nice, many shops selling lavender products (soaps, bath salts). I buy a gelato with coffee and cherry taste. Then, I walk up to the park and look around Nice Ville. The town is full of red houses. I love the view.
28/3
Take the bus to Monaco in the morning. Monaco is very near to Nice. It just takes 40 mins to there. I still do not know whether it is a part of France or not because there is a royal family there. I first visit the palace but nothing special. I think it is like the building in ¡§Golden beach ¡§in H.K. Then I go to Monte Carlo.

Hotel de Paris

Side view of Hotel de Paris

Near the Hotel de Paris

Yachts in Monaco
The casino and the Hotel de Paris are very well-decorated and luxurious. Somehow it reminds me of the Repluse bay in H.K. The city is not so crowded and calm. People living there are rich. You can tell from their clothes. I wish I can live in Monaco one day.
In the afternoon, I visit the museum of contemporary art.

MAMAC -- the museum

The art piece in the museum. It is made of water bottles.
The things inside are very artistic and interesting. It is worth to visit it. Then I taste the traditional snack¡Xsocca. It is a kind of dough made of beans. But it is greasy. Because it is now summer time, the sun sets around 8-9 pm. We go to the beach and bask in the sun. In the dinner, we eat Salade Nicoise, Farcis and baignets. They are the traditional food in Nice.

Salade Nicoise

Farcis and Baignets
They serve a very large portion and I cannot finish them all.
29/3
Take the train to Nimes at 7:20 am. We just wake up at 6:30 am. We are in a hurry to get on the train. It is LUCKY we can catch the train on time. After 2 hours, we stop at Marseille and we have a little time to look around the city. It is so terribly dirty and full of Arabs. It is quite dangerous to walk around, so we go back to train station earlier.
In the afternoon, we arrive to Nimes. It is a small city which was once ruled by Romans. There are some roman architecture remained here such as Coliseum.

Coliseum in Nimes

Church in Nimes
It is similar to the Rome¡¦s one. You cannot tell the difference from a single glance. We took a picture in front of some churches and temples. We shop around and we take 5 hours train back to Bordeaux.
When I am back to Bordeaux, I feel I am back to Home. I think among all the cities in France, I will say I love Bordeaux most. I am happy to be here.
30/3-2/4
Prepare the next trip to London and Barcelona. It¡¦s quite troublesome. I will leave again in next week. Look forward to this trip.
| Yesterday, I watched ¡§Pride and Prejudice¡¨ again.
I love this movie a lot especially Mr. Darcy. When you look at his eyes, you can feel his passionate love when he told Lisa he loved her. It is so intense and I think no women can ever resist it. In the end of the movie, Lisa was alone in the garden after Mr. Darcy¡¦s rude aunt visit; Mr. Darcy showed up from far far away, it seems that he is the one who saved her from her desperate. I am so touched as their love is so subtle but at the same time also like a fire that cannot put out. When I read this book in my high school, I was merely interested in it and found this classic fiction boring. But now if I have time, I am sure I will read it again.
